Dear Abraxas High School Families,
We are writing to provide an update regarding the bomb threat at Abraxas High School.
Law enforcement has completed a thorough investigation, and the reported threat was deemed non-credible. Our campus has been cleared and is safe to re‑enter.
Diploma Program (DP) Students
Diploma Program students are now returning to campus and resuming the school day. Families who wish to pick up their student may do so by checking in through the front office.
Adult Transition Program (ATP) Students
Adult Transition Program students who ride the bus continue to be transported home. As today was an early release day for these students, they will not be returning to campus. To ensure student safety, staff will be on each bus to confirm students are received by a parent/guardian or are safely inside their home.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we prioritized the safety of all students and staff. Thank you for your partnership and trust. We also greatly appreciate law-enforcement’s quick response and support in keeping our community safe.
