Isaac Yunhu Lee Memorial Arts Scholarship

Deadline: April 9, 2024

Eligibility/General Information: The Isaac Yunhu Lee Memorial Arts Scholarship is a $25,650 opportunity given to a student who is in their junior or senior year of high school (or currently in undergraduate study at a university) with financial need. Students are eligible to apply if they are planning to attend or currently attend art school. Students would need to write about a favorite piece of art they have created and what inspired its creation to submit the application.


Jose Montanez Memorial Scholarship

Deadline: April 15, 2024

Eligibility/General Information: The Jose Montanez scholarship is a $1,300 scholarship for high school seniors who are graduating in 2023 and will go on to pursue undergraduate degree or trade school certification. Applicants who have spent time in the foster care system and/or have an interest in pursuing a degree in the arts are strongly encouraged to apply. This scholarship application includes a short essay on how the applicant will use their degree or certification to make an impact on their community.


RAD Scholarship

Deadline: April 19, 2024

Eligibility/General Information: The RAD Scholarship is a $2,000 scholarship that was created to help financially support students looking to make a difference, specifically in regards to improving road safety to honor Rob Dollar. Students who are looking to pursue careers in civil engineering or city planning and development are encouraged to apply for this scholarship, with a preference for students who are also active in the cycling committee. As part of the application, students must write about themselves and their interest/connection to the cycling community in addition to their goals of improving road safety.


1st Generation People Of Color Patrick Copney Memorial Music/Arts Scholarship

Deadline: April 24, 2024

Eligibility/General Information: The Patrick Copney Memorial Scholarship is a two winner, $1,000 each scholarship to help increase access to the music and art fields for those who wish to pursue them. Any African American high school and undergraduate students from low-income backgrounds who are/will be first generation college students (first in the family to attend college) studying music or art in New York are welcome to apply. As part of the application, students must write about why they are passionate about the degree they are pursuing.


Fans of 70's Popstars Scholarship

Deadline: April 28, 2024

Eligibility/General Information: The Fans of 70’s Popstars Scholarship is a $500 scholarship that aims to celebrate the influence 70’s music has had on the world. Any undergraduate student who is pursuing music, theater, or arts may apply. As part of the application, students must write about themselves and how the scholarship would assist them in pursuing their dreams.


Dr. Hap Neufeld Memorial Scholarship - Kiwanis Club of Rancho Bernardo

Deadline: April 30th, 2024

Eligibility/General Information: The Dr. Hap Neufeld Memorial Scholarship Application is a scholarship offered to graduating seniors in the Poway Unified School District. To apply, you will need to fill out the application, answer the required questions, and include two letters of recommendation. After submitting the application, selected candidates will also be participating in an interview with the Kiwanis Club. Minority Women in LAS Scholarship

Deadline: May 2, 2024

Eligibility/General Information: The Minority Women in LAS Scholarship is a $2,000 scholarship that aims to honor Amabel by supporting a student from an immigrant background who has conquered challenges to be able to assist in pursuing their postsecondary plans. Any African American female undergraduate, trade school or graduate student pursuing law, science, or the arts who is an immigrant or the child of immigrants may apply. The student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. As part of the application, the student must write about how their immigrant experience has affected their ability to complete their educational goal.


Alexis Mackenzie Memorial Scholarship for the Arts

Deadline: May 31, 2024

Eligibility/General Information: The Alexis Mackenzie Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship that has 5 winners, with 1st prize winner receiving $3000, that aims to financially support underrepresented women in pursuing their artistic dreams. Any Black or Latina female high school student who has been accepted to a two- or four-year college or an arts institute may apply for this scholarship if they’re pursuing the arts and are in need of financial assistance. As part of the application process, students must write about their passion for the arts, how they will use their career to inspire others, how they will use their art for good, and how they think art can help create a better world.


Reginald Kelley Scholarship

Deadline: June 20, 2024

Eligibility/General Information: The Reginald Kelley Scholarship is a 3 winner scholarship, each $500, that aims to financially support students pursuing higher education in either an artistic or scientific field. Any high school senior or undergraduate student who is pursuing music, arts, or science may apply for this scholarship. As part of the application, students must write about why they are passionate about the field they wish to study and how they plan to make a difference/have an impact through their career.


Cat Zingano Overcoming Loss Scholarship

Deadline: July 20, 2024

Eligibility/General Information: The Cat Zingano Overcoming Loss Scholarship is a $10,000 scholarship that aims to financially support a student who has lost a loved one pursuing higher education. Any high school senior or undergraduate student who is fighting through their own loss of a close family member, legal guardian or loved one, and is in need of financial support may apply for this scholarship. As part of the application, students must write about how their loss of a close family member or loved one caused them to focus on what matters most in their life and what they want to "fight" to achieve.


Jacques Borges Memorial Scholarship

Deadline: October 13, 2024

Eligibility/General Information: The Jacques Borges Memorial scholarship is a $2,025 scholarship aimed at financially supporting a student of Haitian descent pursuing civil engineering. Any high school senior or current undergraduate student of Haitian descent who is currently pursuing or enrolled in a civil engineering program and who has large ambitions for the future of their community and a relentless desire to learn, grow and truly make a difference may apply to this scholarship. As part of the application, students must write about why they are passionate about becoming a civil engineer, the various problems they would like to address in their community, and how they believe they can contribute to solutions to those issues.
