The SIP Resilience and Persistence Award
Deadline: May 28, 2025
Eligibility/General Information: Soroptimist International (SI) is a global volunteer organization that improves the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. This year we are honored to offer the SI Poway Abraxas Resilience and Persistence Award. This cash award, a minimum of $500.00, will be awarded to a female-identifying student or students in the 2025 Abraxas High School graduating class. Applicants will be required to submit an application, prepare a typed essay, and submit two letters of recommendation. The deadline for completed applications to be submitted is May 28th. Our scholarship committee will review and select candidates for interviews. Scholarship winner(s) will be decided upon by June 7th and presented at the Abraxas Graduation Awards Reception.
Abraxas High General Scholarship Form
Deadline: May 23, 2025
Eligibility/General Information: We highly encourage all graduating students who will be engaging in any postsecondary education (college/trade school) to complete our General Abraxas Scholarship form! Abraxas receives direct scholarship opportunities to provide our students, and completing this form allows us to connect you right to those opportunities. Please be as descriptive as possible so we may fully understand your experiences and circumstances to best consider you for as many scholarships as possible! You may be asked to interview in front of our committee after submitting this form, but this form allows you to start preparing for what kind of information you may be asked about further in the interview.
